1989 944 T Black on Black
Guys,
I am buying a Cayenne Turbo and trading in my nice 89 with 91K miles. The car is nice and I worked out a deal with the dealer if I can sell it myself within two weeks of purchase he will rebat some of the money to me and take less for the car than he would if he has to carry it in his inventory. The dealer is a friend of mine. So here is the deal. The first one who wants the car for 10K can call me and buy a very nice 951S. All new clutch, belts, water pump, starter, belts etc... don't miss out on this one. Search my threads for pics.

damn, i was gonna offer you $11K last year when i came by to look at the car, but you were at an auto-cross.
guys, this car is not a bad deal. interior is definately showing its age and there's was small dent where the passenger rear quarter meets the bumper. nonetheless a great performance value for $10K.

Sold
Guys the black car is sold. It was a great buy. I now have my new Cayenne turbo. My wife said we needed a sports car that we could take a trip in... this is the closest thing to a family sports car that I could find. A little heavy but once up to speed you better hold on. My wife uses soft mode. Rides like a catie and I use sports mode. There really is a big diffrance in the two.
Anyway, I am going to sell my red track car for a great deal. This would be a deal for someone who can install a set of rings. It smokes a little but it starts and drives. I have not tracked it in over a year because of the need for a refresh. I have driven it on the street. The interior and exterior is very nice.
Call me if intrested.

Red car
I am not sure. I will entertain offers. I am still thinking of building a 2.8 for the car or saelling. I think a great deal would be 8K for the car for someone. There are pics on the forum of the car. It has 4K in suspention and comes with a set of spare wheels and all the original stuff i still have. The car looks great inside and out.
The car starts and runs. I started it today and drove it around the block to keep the battery charged. Most everything works on this car includeing the cruse control and cold AC
Thanks,

I got to see this car today, well - well worth the money. I'd seen it before down in TX and heard about it setting fast lap times in TX as well - putting a case of the red A$$ on some
ZO6 boys down there.
I think the little things are going to work out just fine for it's long term health care. Block to bore and finish, Mahle Swain coated 100.5 pistons, polished crank, rods with ARP hardware and a spare wiring harness to sort through.
Nice to meet you today John. Hope the ride in the ole 87 was ok, you know it's not an 89. Keep me informed on the decision process, we'll get Mr. Eason to work. Shhhh...keep him a secret too.

Bret, Great meeting you and I'll get the head off the car today to see what's underneath, I'll either post some photos of the car, before I start with pulling the engine.
The 87 was a great ride, and looks very good. Pulls nice and the SFR exhaust sounds GREAT. Good job Tim.
Thanks for all your help.
