In spite of single digit temps outside and zero insulation in shop, I pushed forward this weekend with some progress

Isolator washers are 2" OD 3/16" thick. Originally 1" ID hole welded with m10 heavy washer to meet my needs. Excess weld ground for a final resulting flat washer with desired center hole.

Sleeve made up of 3/16" wall thickness round with a machined down nut welded into each end. This provides anti-crush support and a method to lock th bolt and sleeve in place. Sleeve assembly is 1.5" tall.

Drivers side is installed in car for fitting pass side. Will of course be blasted, etch primed and painted before final assembly.

Also plan to weigh stock mounts and these mounts. Goal/hope these are lighter than stock

You could duplicate Tools setup, just sandwhich your rubber isolator between two halves of the aluminum.

finally getting back to this.

I weighed factory engine mount = 1 pound 6.7 ounces
My fabricated mount assembly = 1 pound 5 ounces

I am pleased to find my "heavy" reinforced mounts are still not heavier than factory mounts
