92 968 TURBO

Drifting
Porsche made 15 road going Turbo S 968 cars.
he chassis has been lowered 0.8", and fitted with stiffer springs and shocks, a stronger clutch and 4-piston, aluminum caliper brakes with vented and crossed drilled discs from the 911 Turbo S. PVC undercoating, electric windows and seats, plus electric door locks were all stripped out, resulting in a weight of 2,867 lbs. As you can see, this thing is for real. Unfortunately, the day might not ever come when you see this car easing up beside you at a red light. Even though it is completely street legal, Porsche only produced 15 of them. They weren't about to offer a cheaper model that could outperform the 928 and 911!

Go on, laugh. You have to build so many production cars to qualify for racing. In thus case, Porsche was trying to qualify the 968 for the German GT Championship. I'm not sure if this is 1900 including the S, CS, TS, TRS models, or what. Just going by the book Rod, so no need to twist your panties and start calling people out for having so called "bull****" information.
I'm speaking from the book pictured. So don't try to clown me before you even know the facts and where I got the information!

It is obviously not the correct number, but don't take it personally. It's just Rennlist shooting the **** type of stuff. It would have to be other models too, otherwise we'd all be driving one.

Nothing personal meant, but you did seem very confident in your number and facts are pretty 'flexible' here. Reading the passage I think they are referring to the CS as they made a bit over 1900 over those I think, someone probably played with the editing before the book was published.
