Now I remember, you offered me $ 300.00 for a turbo S block, but I wasn't sure it was the guy from rennlist. Yea I was thinking either this guy is retarded or is a 928 owner.

Now, I don't know you, and I'm about to make some rather assuming statements. I apologize ahead of time if any of these offend you as that is not my intention.
If your porsche is your only car, you probably don't have all that much money, sense, or a need for a car on a daily basis. (insert laughter here.) You're most likely young and want something different, fun, and fast. What you don't think about, is that in 5 years, 10 years, 15 years, you'll have a lot more money than you have now. Which will mean that instead of trying to keep your 951 on the road to get you to work everyday, you'll have bought another car. This other car will be your daily driver while you try to make the 951 more of a weekend warrior. Then the day will come when something breaks, you hit something, you get hit, etc. and a realization will come over you. The car, while it is a great car, is not worth the amount of time, effort, and money you're putting into it, and there will be other cars that outperform (not just in speed necessarily) it for less time, effort and money.
That is what I consider the point of diminishing returns for automobiles. The 951 is a great value right now, but it's just a car. It has a "following" because it is just that. A good looking, quick, fun to drive, and prestigious car with potential to be even faster... That also happens to be cheap. (to buy, not necessarily to own) ... Value. That's what drives the used car market.

It means that we kicked your Red coats out a few hundred years ago, I guess fighting against guys in Africa or India who only were able to throw rocks or sticks did not prepare you for some country hicks with Kentucky rifles......and then you had to call 1 800 USA Help in not one but two worldwars otherwise you would be speaking proper German now.

Please all my US cousins forgive me this rant! I know all of you guys are patriots and you have a great country that I always enjoy excellent hospitality in
Now on to you poleposition
Hang on Colonal Saunders, as i recall you had rather a lot of help from the French in getting our limey asses out of the door!
Then on to the world wars?? Can you remember Pearl Harbour??? there was not much help before that was there. Who kickked Rommel out of Africa and kept Korea and Singapore with the Aussies and kept the ***** at bay until assistance came???? Remember it was not just you yanks either, there were many Canadians, Australians, New Zealanders, Africans and Indians, Nepalese came over to assist. Have you ever been to a war cemetry in Northern France?
Maybe you should, not many of youre lot made it back to Arlington and it is a very sobering experience
Stop watching saving private Ryan and read some real history books
Didn't do to well in Vietnam as I recall despite the needless spilling of so much US blood and loss of so many lives? Does that mean you guys should be speaking Vietnamise?? Victorious???
Now on to Iraq and the middle east. Who has been your only friend in the war for oil?? Yes Great Britain and I know many serving US service men who have shown their gratitude.
Now stop chewing that tobacco, go wash your dungarees and get back out on the ranch/farm!

Vietnam was a political fiasco just like Iraq. In both cases if they just let the soldiers do what they do it would be over by now. Too many rules, too many generals.
