The HID low beams were probably the biggest improvement. Are the driving lights like a pencil beam, or more like a fog light in pattern?

the driving lights have a pencil beam, not very bright, cheap lights. HIDs were definately a great improvement, no need for foglights.
Eventually I get projector HIDs for hi beam.

where did you get the project HID's and how did you mount them?

HIDs are from a wrecked Infinity. Custom made brackets.

Most European versions of German cars have HID's with the fogs removed, versus the USA versions with DOT headlights plus fogs. The HID's just overpower the fog lights. What about a Hella's newest offerings?
