I can only imagine that no springs would make the clutch a lot more grabby.

The sprung is supposed to be more grabby and less shock when it grabs. Though the unsprung is cheaper and its also lighter

Yea, for street purposes I think sprung would be better. But not those little springs that come on the stock sachs disk. They are garbage.
