Default Just got done at the dyno

I thought I'd share my numbers

I made 410 hp and 445 #ft

Total investment in this car ~$2800

this was w/o nitrous, I am going to install a new pipe between teh downpipe and teh cat back sysetm and go back down.

Does anyone have teh software to convert the files from drf to Jpeg? If not I 'll have to get on a PC and then I will upload them so I am no longer runnign on MYTH .

BTW this is a total junkyard salvage car with some creative parts and tuning.

I will be tearing it down for paint and swapping interior shrtly

That is a great accomplishment.

For years people have been saying you just cant do it.

Just goes to show all the naysayers that it can be done.

Thanks for showing that it IS possible.

You should post this over on the N/A board.

So you were running E-85 and the Methanol injection? Or just the E-85?

I just stopped by to talk to my dyno guy a few days ago and he had a mustang running. Other than a supercharger it was pretty much stock putting down 495whp on E85. He said he could tune mine for E85 anytime I was ready. It's a lot cheeper than race gas.

This is great. I would love to find out your tuning info regarding your fuel air mix, and if you have exhaust temp info. Both should be MUCH lower with E85.

NICE! is that at the wheels? either way, those are some SERIOUS numbers. What are you doing for engine management? When E-85 becomes available in Norcal, I'll be sure to try it out!

What are the specs on that "homebrew turbo"?

Yes at teh wheels, I was running only the e85 today.

tuning is all old school I am actually using the stock injectors and a extra nozzle to add fuel. You will notice that the graph goes from very rich to about a good a/f ratio. This is b/c I have a hobbs swtich that turns onthe extra einjector at 4 psi

I didn't watch the EGT's during the runs but they didn't go higher than 1625 deg overall.

I ask because Rich, using our normal Gasoline scales, is what you want with E85 as you, and maybe some others do not, know.

6:1 is a rich a/f with E85, and the torque increases to those very saturated numbers.
