I have to say I don't think the CGT was being taken to top speed in the video. I've ridden with the owner of the CGT where he was hitting 165-170 per the speedometer, and in my 951 I hit 135 max on that straight (per GPS, about 140 per speedo.) Judging from the video it doesn't look like the CGT was carrying 30+ mph more than me in that segment. Since it wasn't the owner driving the CGT in this session, I expect the driver backed off a little.

I just think it's pretty cool that a great driver in a very fast 15-year old FEWC Porsche can catch a competent driver in Porsche's latest Supercar like that!

Nope...nothing strange at all.

Heheheh present company excepted.
Just in light of today's availability of 16v tech, that would be the more common choice for a 3.0L by preference I would have thought?
How's your car going Jase?

All's well, mate.

Making a list for Santa as we speak...Hmm, cool shirt for the heat of the summer is always a nice one.

Gut the electrics and simplify my life...Just need a few wires only.

How's by you?

Yep the nut behind the wheel is the determining factor... I will never forget my very first DE at Robeling Roads when a kid in a Honda civic was ALL over me the first lap. Sure I could run down the straight fast but by turn 3 he was on me again so I waved him by wondering HOW the hell had that happened???
