Update: so I have found the motor to build. It is a 3.0L 968 motor. I am going to go down in the next week or so to watch it run and then I am shipping it to whom I am going to have do the work. I am assuming that it will take around 4 months to turn this job, but question is what do I do with the old motor? Are the resellable merchandise? What do you think I could get for a 60k mile 2.5L longblock? What about the turbo? Just want to figure out what to do with the old parts as I would like to (don't need to) use it to write down the costs of the 3.0L project. Any input is greatly appreciated.

Many of the parts off the 2.5 engine will be needed to convert the 3.0 engine. It depends on how the motor will be built and configured but don't sell anything until the new engine is done.

Not too much from the 2.5L needed for the 3.0L I wouldn't have thought.

Planning on using 3.0L block and 16V head. Should not need much from the 2.5L. What were you thinking I might need, curious. I might be missing something.
