This is Jim's wife. I'm usually very nice as Jim's boyfriends (Reno and Ted) can confirm, but the day I yelled at Dave I had just found out that Jim did something really stupid. Not the normal husband stupid, but in the doghouse, no sex stupid.

He's out of the doghouse for now and I'm nice again. But you (and Jim) better not **** me off because he won't we able to work on your cars or play on this stupid forumn.

Yeah your very nice (I always get food) and i don't blame you. I am surprised you let him out. He always has SMART ideas and does them; thats the problem. About evil aka Dave he is just plain special don't pay any mind to him.

BTW my girlfriend wants to know how can you put up with a guy like Jim? Reason being is that she wants to know how can she put up with me. And i am sure many other awsome wives like your self want to know as well.

I sheared off the head on the bolt on my short shift kit, so if the linkage becomes loose again and I lose the ability to reverse I'll either have to spend a hell of a lot of time with a drill under the car, or I'll have to pull out the tranny to get it.


I also put the wrong turn signal bulbs in and now apparently have completely ruined my car's ability to have turn signals.

Back in 1986, while I was a mechanic for BMW, I was adjusting the valves on a new 635CSI, I had the spark-pulgs out and droped a 10mm nut into the combustion chamber. luckily I noticed before I started the car. I was able to retrieve with a magnet and a string. :-)

On the 924, I was loosening the alternator tensioner, and like Andrew, punched myself in the eye... saw stars, had a black eye, it was great going to work the next day...

"Oh, who didja fight?"

"No one... I kicked my own *** thank you very little."

On the turbo, trying to make the power seats move forward manually (because the fuse was blown due to a bad contact in the switch... I went to fix it) so I used a power drill... and stripped the gears...completely. no teeth left...
