I would say see if someone in the area could let you borrow a batwing to make sure the one you're making is going to work as a replacement.

AIR would likely have some issues with you grabbing their splitter and just making a urethane copy of it
How they can have any issues if they copied splitter design from Gemballa? The original design was Gemballas in the 80’s. Nowadays Strosek make similar splitter in Europe. Take a look of these Strosek items. These pictures are from German tuning company D&W catalog from 1989.

From this pictutre you can see Strosek side skirts and Gruppe951 splitter which was done by our "gang". That car is Markus' superb 951.

The primary area where these things dont fit right is here:

That is not a AIR splitter. It is my friends car and that splitter was made by ourselves, so it is a Gruppe951 splitter. We have later changed the original design, so the fitment is better.
I suppose you have used this picture, at least your picture looks a lot like the original one I have taken

In this picture you can see our "gang" making one of these Gruppe951 splitters.

Yes I just hope the splitter and header panel didn't interrupt afternoon tea though...
Nice looking cars though Olli.

I would love one if it's going to be like the Wings West material. I'll keep watching this thread to keep an eye out on the development.

Is there any way we can get that nose piece on the black CAB with the round head lights? Also the hatches on the red car are they still making them?

I've got a pic on my phone to prove it. lol

I guess im just going to have to buy another AIR splitter. I'm getting better at bodywork after all this time trying to fit the new 968 rocker panels that AIR sells, so maybe i'll just try and fix the things that bug me all by my lonesome.

the front nose panel would be nice, especially with some sort of intercooler vent like the lr stage 5 panel. personally i think the hatch looks horrible, but if that's what you like, gt racing sells something similar, but without the big upper and lower wing.

Don't worry guys, i haven't forgotten about this one. My fiberglass splitter has arrived, and I FINALLY got my car back from the body shop last night. I'll be test fitting it and posting some pics, then building a box to make a mold in. It's going to be a very hard piece to mold, so bear with me.

Kevin sent me a PM with some pricing and ideas, but hasn't responded in a week or two. I was really hoping he would collaborate on this one, as he could get me materials at wholesale pricing. Does anyone know how i could get in touch with him? i tired email.
