In terms of oil coolers I'm not sure how much space you have behind the front bumper but I thought about maybe having twin oil cooler, setup one in each corner and doing one of these:-
1. mounting them so the air exits into the wheel arch through the brake cooling ducts.
2. mounting them at 45 degrees and having vents inthe side of the front bumper just in front of the wheel arch so the air enteres the bumper and gets turned 90 degs outboard to dump out of these vents. I'm not sure if you have enough space behind the bumper to mount the coolers at 45 degrees though.
It also means you'd need to do something different on brake cooling and re locate your power steering cooler if you are keeping power steering.

Patrick,
One other thing I forgot to mention is that I'm going to be running 3.5 feet of louvers (just over a metre) behind where each headlight would go (mine is "blind"). By running louvers from the front of your hood back to the battery area on the passenger side and all the way back to the fuse box on the driver's side you'll vent out tons of hot air and still have a stockish appearance.
I know I can get away with many things with a single piece front end, but some of them transfer over. I'll get some pics of the louver thing from the shop soon![Smilie](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)

Doug, I like that idea of some side vents or some more ventilation further back in the hood. I was thinking I wonder if you could do an outlet vent ala 968rs for the radiator and i/c, and then further back an inlet to bring in cold air, and then some more at the rear or hinge side to allow for more hot air to exit. Could get a bit busy, but I like the concept.
Which nose panel is that on the red car? I prefer it to the Lindsey one.
Dan, that's a nice look on your nose panel too. One of the best visual features of the 924t's in my book. Was it hard to line them up?
Scott, twin coolers must be a good idea, however strangely enough I was talking to a guy who prepares race cars and he said that depending on the type of events you do (we mostly do shorter sprints) that you have to be careful with too much oil cooling that you don't run to cold or not up to prime operating temps. All I know is that when I come into the pits the dipstick is bloody hot so I'm thinking the extra cooling is a good idea. Yes I am keeping p/s at this stage.
Gabriel, do you mean those old style looking vents like from an E-type Jag? That would let out tons of hot air!
Adam, not sure about foam in there? Will probably work some sort of ducting out to supply both i/c and rad. If I'm brave enough to remove the a/c condenser then that will open up some nice room. Problem is as you know it gets hot in Sydney. We had 36C 2 days ago and we're only into spring!

Oh, and also. The thick panel where we hang our license plates doesn't do much from what I can see. You think the bumper is behind this but it's not so it would be nice to remove or reduce this, like in the white car Dave posted. You could have a thin metal strip to hang the plate off on the street and just remove the plate when you go to the track? I think GT may have a nose panel like this?

LFA, that looks awesome. Did you do the front panels yourself? How much light do they throw down there?

The panel was like that when I got it, it was designed for a bigger IC, but I just kept the stock one, I would assume that a lot of light gets on the outside, but no light enters the radiator or past the mesh, it's always dark in there...
