Looking for 951 exhaust pics
Howdy y'all,
I'm planning on welding up a custom exhaust in the future (next couple of months or so) and I am going to draw up a Solidworks CAD drawing of the exhaust in order to help me.
So in order to get things started, can anyone post up a few pictures (from various angles) of their 951 exhaust for me? Both on and off the car would be appreciated.
Thanks!

Thanks guys! Dan P, do you happen to have any more pics of the exhaust on your jig like that? i.e. of the end of it?
George, it's running, but i've just determined I've got an exhaust leak (extremely small but annoying past 3k) and a failing halfshaft knuckle -- at least that's what I think it is...
See, my theory is, if I replace everything i can on the damn thing it'll be new, right?

Kind of interesting, my SFR exhaust has recently starting rattling against the frame in this location that I boxed in on this picture. It hits right there by the castor block where the frame U's out, it looks like you have grinded away this area, maybe for the same reason?

Wrap some muffler tape on it till you get your exhaust made. You young engineers amaze me by saying, " Hey send me some exhaust picts so I can build a 3" exhaust from scratch in my driveway."
Cracks me up.

Haha what -- I'm a poor, starving college student!
You should come into the UA Formula SAE shop and check out the exhausts we've welded up "in our driveway." We bought a bunch of mandrel U-bends and then just cut and welded until it was right. Actually looks pretty cool. Unfortunately, nobody in town owns a mandrel bender large enough...
