Any chance you have some factory injectors on hand to measure with the same multimeter?

note: there are two different 55lb siemens injectors (marren sells both);
-low impedence
-high impedence

one of them requires resistors, the other is a stock plug-and-play solution.

With the Python 83# injectors I had a perfectly smooth idle in all temperatures, from below freezing to 100'+ F. I have recently switched to Siemens 86# injectors and the car still idles great but has a very slight up and down idle where it goes between 800 and 900 rpm, and the same even with the A/C on high. This, I am certain is only because I have yet to adjust my LINK for the difference with the new injectors, the idle difference is because it's changing "cells". Once I adjust it so it can interpolate between the two cells better, it won't be switching back and forth...and thus back to a perfect idle. I also use a MAX chip with the LINK.

It's an older Link AFM, bought it cheap to use for testing but like many things I ended up liking it's reliability and consistancy once I got it tuned. My idle moves between 850 and 900 rpm with the new injectors, not 800 - 900 as I had listed before.

I want to upgrade my injectors as I will be buying 951Max chips, currently have either Lindseys or some other brand according to PO.

I have a 3bar Fuel reg, MBC, 3" exhaust without a cat, Venturi delete, unknown wastegate, and stock k26/6 turbo.

I know Vitesse sells a set for $325 of 55lb injectors, but I want to spend around $200-250 for a set of 4 somewhere in the 40-55# range.
Where are all the good deals?? I want something plug n play, I dont want to mess with resistors.
If you have not bought injectors yet, check these out!

Really cheap at US $27.50 a piece!!

i will soon have a local injector shop perform a side-by-side comparison test between the stock bosch injectors vs siemens 55lb vs delphi vs. rc 1000cc.

i'll be testing for:
1) flow characteristics (i'll take photos of the spray pattern at various fuel pressure/duty cycle)
2) fuel pressure limit (we'll turn up the fuel pressure to 60psi+ and see if the injector still functions correctly)
3) actual flow rate (vs. advertised flow rate)

if anyone has any other comparison suggestions, please post up.

here's a photo of the delphis;

Being sold individually only, they won't be flow matched. I think the factory variance is +/- 4% meaning you could have an 8% variance in a set... you could have a nice AFR but a lean cylinder with its consequences.

Hey Nize,

I think it would be very interesting to also test the minimum amount of fuel metered per pulse. My understanding is that the design of the Delphi's is such that this amount would be much lower than for the others. This in turn should mean you could run much bigger Delphi injectors without idle problems which could be interesting for people considering running a dual fuel setup - E85/Pump Gas.

hey that's a great suggestion. i'll add that;

4) minimum amount of fuel metered per pulse (for idle characteristics)

if anyone has any other comparison suggestions, please post up.
