Scott, you should use the one with the arrow(s) and plug the other two with the allen plugs; use some teflon or thread compound for the plugs.

xsboost,

I saw a post of yours that said that you once installed a MBC that worked backwards. Did you mean that the (-) actually allowed more boost when you turned it that direction?

yeah the problem was- with a dual port WG such as mine the MBC works fine the way it says on the button. With a single port wastegate it works the opposite of what the handle reads- and it doesnt work very well. Boost becomes variable/ sketchy and jumps around somewhat instead of rock solid accurate like when hooked to a dual port.

Plug the "center" hole and blow on one side while turning the ****. If you can blow air through and then turn the **** so that you are unable to blow air through then hook that side up to the vac line with the opposite side going to the WG. SOrry if it is not the best description haha.

BTW: the avatar pic is awesome. I love college haha.

Hey what's up. So, sounds like you got the car back together.

Mine is even farther apart now. Figured it's been down this long might as well go all the way.

Oh, BTW what's the MBC for, turning the boost down.

Hope all is well in the Big Easy.

I have my Lindsey MBC hooked up to the stock wastegate, and also found that you had to turn the control **** opposite of what is marked to get any boost regulation. Also am having erratic boost pressures. I was looking for leaks, but it must be somewhat normal when using stock wastegate to have the erratic boost pressures. Just waiting to get some copper gaskets to instal my 38mm tial.

Ah, the MBC is attached to a Tial in dual port while running Maxx Chips. Overboosting pretty quickly. Tial is attached correctly but I'm going to go back and fool with the vac. hoses. I may have them reversed on the MBC but I'd think that it wouldn't cause an overboost.

If I get time this weekend I'll trace it down and try to solve. That is if New Orleans isn't hit by another Hurricane this weekend.

I knew you took the head off but I didn't know you were going farther with it. What's in store?

Yes the hoses from the MBC going to the Tial's top port only help in keeping the WG closed.

So it sounds like you're overboosting issue may be related to the hose comming from the banjo plug towards the Tial Side port. Somehow the "open WG" signal is not getting through.
