Default Installed 044 pump. What a pain

Argh. That is ridiculous. Why are the terminals switched for the 044 compared to the stock one!!!!
I changed out fittings twice. Kept checking for pressure.
Looked for bloackage.. etc. man... I can't beleive I missed that for over an hour and a half. WHY!? totally opposite. They're laughing. The Germans are laughing at me right now.
ok. Sleepy time. I'm not going to be very awake for work tomorrow.

I'm not sure either? It's pretty obvious what's 12v and GND on the pump, different colors and sizes of the pins and everything

Any pics of the install? Curious of how you routed the fuel from the tank to the pump.
I used a 120 deg push on AN adapter but that sucker sticks out too far to fit the pump shield so now I have to redo it..

Sorry bout that. I was pretty tired last night.

What I meant was that the SMALL connector (terminal) for the stock pump goes to positive and the LARGE connector goes to negative. It's the other way around on the 044. but I just put them where they seemed to fit without looking. Large connector to large post, small connector terminal to small post. Therefore accidentally switching polarity. I shouldn't have been working that late and had tunnel vision there.
