Default 968 turbo S at Ventura German Porsche fest '07!

Well I am for the most part done with my 968 turbo S short of breaking in the motor and tuning. Also would like to get speelines and 3 piece wing but thats this winter. Anyway I was prerigistered at the german Porsche fest in Ventura this last weekend. I parked on Main street with all the other turbo Porsche's as this years theme was turbo's on Main St. so go figure. i was disappointed with the front engine crowd there were maybe 20 of us there. What gives guys you So Cal guys cant drive 1 hr to check it out. It was really fun my wife and I saw maybe 500 different Porsche's and oh yah I won 1st place in the Peoples Choice.
Heres a few pics of the show and my car! John brought his 1990 turbo S cab down as well.

Sounds like you had a great time? But the pics you posted are so tiny, see if you can post some bigger ones of it. Your car look gorgeous and I'd love to see some close-up and much bigger ones!

Larger pics! And a few of the engine going into the car as well as my body work on the hood and bumper cover, dual hood latches work well just like factory!

Very nicely done! Now all you need is the rear wing. Beautiful work! Whats the estimated power output?

Yes I hope to complete the 968 turbo S look with a 3 piece rear wing painted to match of course, 3 piece speedlines which the factory used on the 968 turbo S first in 1992 I might add. Then later they used them on the '94 964 turbo's. I will also eventually remove the rear black bumperettes and fill the bumper cover in to complete the euro look in the back. Ah now only if I had a sunroof delete 968 I think there is like 2 real US ones ordered in the states.

Once the motor is broke in which will be a easily driven 500 miles with no boost. Then an oil change, I will install the 72 LB injectors and turn the computer to the appropriate setting. And I hope for 400 RWHP with the boost I plan to run forever which is 15 PSI I have a MAP Link setup and tuner module with everything to make it work so I might try that next spring if I feel up to it.

Congratulations Shawn. That turned out absolutely beautiful. I just love the stealth look of the engine. Are you going to have it ready in full firebreathing form for the Skaggs Run? We'll have to talk about that MAP/Link setup you are planning on.

Outstanding! I know you have been working on this for a while now and it has really paid off.

500 miles w/o boost... c'mon, better dead end your boost air signal.
