Collin: Actually going to be stateside in 6 days for a week. The new house just had a sink leak and it flooded out part of downstairs...its all good, that's what USAA is for

ehall: Thanks man, means a lot - she'll be done...one day. I'll make sure to post up all the cool new stuff when it happens!

Ted, but what fun is that?

Jake, good luck with yours...that thing should never have to stop boosting its so beautiful!

This project is still meant as a "hey world look at me" to show everyone how much a Porsche the 951 is, and what its potential could have been if the factory chose to continue it.

Thanks for the interest everyone...its nice to know people are still following.

In regards to that last point...make sure that performance remains the highest priority. Porsche has always been about performance fist (until they built a ****ing SUV), so find a way to make it out handle, out "endurance" and out "style" what the factory could have done. That's a pretty HUGE challenge.

Thanks Rolex, its a long road to haul but we're getting there.

I'm not going to post up about the 930 until its done...I will say this, they're going to share rear tire sizes

ehall: those are my priorities...the factory look is what is so expensive! It will hang with the best.

Just FYI, the ATL fuel cells, well they hold up very well. And if I am hit badly in the rear of the car, I have every confidence that it will not become a problem.

Thanks everyone I'll post up pics as I get them from the shop.

Yes I am doing a 935 RSR project as well, but the GTR still takes precidence. The GTR is taking awhile and I saw something I wanted for a daily driver. Link to the 935 RSR build up is here

I'm a fan of wide tires too, but you might want to photoshop a few shots to take a look. There's such a thing as going too wide.

There is no such thing as excess in this project. Biggest, best, most expensive of anything and everything is going in to this.

Yer making life tough for me!
To run a 27” diameter wheel/tire on a suspension designed for 25” is a real big change. If you want to do we will need to completely change the rear suspension…..

Minor update, rear floor area is pretty much done, the rear tubs are getting there (as of yesterday only thing left was driver side tub).

The integrated cage will start to go in within the next few weeks (waiting on ordered tubing) along with the front tube frame tied in to the shock towers.

Note the filled vent holes along the area where the hatch sits in the below pics
