I apologize for the crappy pics, but hey, they're mechanics not photographers!
They got two big projects out the way and decided to have some fun with the 930 project. The shop guys wanted to have some fun so they taped the rear quarters on to judge fitment, which doesn't appear too bad.
The front fenders were supposed to have louvers like the original 935s, so I'm working with AIR to solve that problem.
All in all it looks like the rear tires will fit with no problems...however the quarters don't look as wide as I thought they would.

Hey guys, to answer some questions I'm running the same rear tires on the GTR project and the 930 so I can stock up on them in the garage and they'll be interchangable.
The drawback to the look is the weight of 47lbs per tire, and yes I'm trying to recreate the unusual rule interpretation that allowed them to run super wide wheels in the rear.
This car will be my daily drive and the GTR my weekend cruiser as it will have a larger investment in the paint job.
I'll keep everyone updated, paint and such should be done in November.
