Talking Will not be without a Porsche Turbo!

Well, after the carnage of my last post that showed the transformation of my beautiful 86 951 (w/ a fresh headgasket AND turbo) into running parts car , I'm pleased to present the 87 951 I picked up today in Ohio.

My 86 951 on 7/6/07

My 86 951 on 7/20/07 after encountering 16 year old girl.

The fresh 87 951 to fill her place!

Went up and and picked it up at Rennsport Motors in Medina Ohio today & drove it back. Theres a super nice guy named Tom who runs the place and he has some super clean cars. If you're looking for a sweet 911 Carreras, he has two really nice ones. Check out his website. Rennsport Motors This 951 is damn fast w/ a stock turbo & manual boost controller set at about 12 lbs. I was really supprised. It's the cleanest 951 I've ever seen much less owned. It's got just over 54,000 miles.

The insurance adjuster comes out tomorrow to look at the cruched 86, but I could not be without a Porsche turbo for another day.

Nice, really nice congrats. About the old one would you be interested in selling the whole car?

Thank you very much! It was great driving it home today. I also really like the black & tan. The other white car had a cranberry interior which I was never crazy about.

About the old one would you be interested in selling the whole car?
- thanks for asking lart, but I'm going to be keeping most of the engine & transmission parts along with misc other stuff. As clean as this new one is, it's still 20 years old. I figure some may come in handy down the road. Thanks for asking.

You are a true follower of the 951 cult and a smart one too. You deserve the 944 turbo shrine, well done.
