one of my mirrors sits noticably higher than the other. The doors look straight and i tried loostening it and moving it. Did the make different mirrors through the years? My drivers side can fold into the window and the passenger hits the weather strip. Which one is normal?

got a pic of them? have you checked the hole in the door to make sure the mirror is mounted correctly and not hitting anything?

Mine is different left and right. From memory the right one is higher than the left.

the one side sits differently than the other- i believe on all of them. Something about getting the right angle on them- the bases are different. If its that much, it could be a base from a 911 or something...

On my 89 the bottom of the mirror is even with the little flat before the rubber window seal. Both sides are same height. Different angles, same height.
