How often does everyone replace the fuel filter?

Any of the big parts stores sell them for our cars or is this a Pelican thing?

The reason why i am putting it off is because i know that if i change the pump its going to take a couple of days. prob my lines are going to break or something.

The only way your lines could break is if it was an original, no problems otherwise...

No, you can wait 30K on a fuel filter. That's the recommended mileage. However, I change mine every 15K and it takes like 20 minutes, maybe. And no, kragens, pep boys and autozone don't carry them anymore. You may have to order it. But I would just buy it from pelican like you said or your local Euro car based store. They're around. The filter is like $20. It's super easy. Good luck.

I do agree it is VERY easy to replace, at least Porsche kept that in mind... but damn recommended 10k miles!!! thats unheard of in most cars now a days (and i want to say in cars those days but I couldn't back it up).

I actually did a survey on this one a little while ago. Here's the link --> https://rennlist.com/forums/showthre...ht=fuel+filter

My conclusion was that every three years is probably fine for me (equates to 18K miles)
