Pretty much any chip set will work since you are now just relying on the chip for ignition timing and overboost protection since our(or whoevers) fuel controller will control the fuel curve.

Any MAF and piggy back will work with this type of system. We are just relocating the MAF sensor. I wouldnt suggest dumping what you have if it works well. This system is designed to enhance what you already have

Nice 350 Tim !!! But your 951 was my inspiration.

For the newbies, this is Turbo Tim's engine bay, I found while searching the internet way back in 2000.

Thanks for the compliments David. How is the car running?Last time I seen a pic of it,it looked pretty damn sweet. My car will go back together one day This time it will be even better.

The Z was cool because it was brand new and we just tossed a couple turbos on it and proceeded to beat the dog **** out of it for the last couple years. If you punch it in fourth gear at 8.5 psi it annihilates the 285/19/30 T1R's. LOL It will pretty much destroy anythng in its path and it hasnt turned into the money pit like my good ol' 944t.

Actually if you have the Vitesse MAF sensor with the 6-pin connector, you can use the sensor as is just use a custom built IC pipe and have the MAF sensor in-line.. Keep in mind that the MAF sensor is 3" in diameter, while the IC pipe is smaller...

People thinking of Water Injection, they should inject AFTER the MAF.

not so simple depends how you think of water injection if you if you see the water as a fuel subtitute and some do yes after MAf but if you consider the water to be there to cool and and make the charge air more dense you put the water in befor the maf . and yes it will affect the maff reading it will see more charge air . so have you seen water injection make things go rich ???
All theory of water injection sujjest the sooner you get in in the inlet tract the better as it will atomise better and it has more chance to pull heat from the air .
Draw through water injection is awsome we dont do it as the droplets of water damage the compressor wheel at 120 000 rpm

Tim, WIll you offer to sell the MAF "adapter" for the IC to TB pipe?

I run the LR MAF and have always wanted to intigrate it into the IC pipe. OR maybe the hardpipe with the adaptor/BOV flange?

Around what hp level can these MAFs handle? (voltage vs CFM etc.)

I know I sent you a private email about this but the sensor we use is capable of handling 500+ WHP N/A applications so on almost all 951's, it should be good to go I thought it was good info for everyone.

Maybe I missed this but what will happen if say the turbo begins letting oil by and starts to coat the whole system with oil? Will that not get on the wire causing problems?
