On mine there is a black rubber "y" connector nearby.....it goes on the leg of the "y' that is bent at the end.

Mine joins another vacuum line(black/through the firewall above the battery)via the "y" and the remaining hose runs to a blue/black valve(check valve?) up high(by the oil fill cap).
The L vacuum kit has my attention, but I don't know much about it yet.

It's July 4, it's raining, my 951 isn't running...GRRR!

Good excuse to upgrade all your lines to silicone hose

No sir. Replace them all once, and never again.

The skinny cheap lines do. Make sure you get a good set with thick OD. The ones at stores like Pep-boys will collapse under the slighest heat, the Lindsey set won't.

Oh boy - what??
That has nothing to do with fuel.
They are vac supply to heater control inside the car to then open/close the heater valve OUTSIDE the car above the clutch.
If you ran rich disconnected, it must be downstream of the fuel regulator on your car.
It looks like your 951 has been the past victim of a knucklehead, Carlos.
You better bring that up here.
