Default 86 951 For Sale

1986 Porsche 951 Seal Gray Metallic / Black leather interior
Location: Lakewood, Colorado
Mileage: 132,500
Price: $10,500

I've owned the car for a little over 2 years, and have put about 17k miles on it since. It is a beautiful seal gray color, and most of the car has been repainted except for the roof that has a sun spot on it. The wheels are in excellent condition and have no corrosion on them. The black leather interior is still all original and is in good shape. The dash has a few cracks on it as does the vinyl cover for the center console. Floor mats are in excellent shape and have Turbo embroidered in red on them. I am the 3rd owner of this car, and I know that the previous owners absolutely babied it. Most of the work done to it was professionally done locally.

Modifications:
Koni sport struts and springs
Weltmeister adjustable rear sway bar
KKK K26/8 turbo

I'll answer this one- Basically those 2 gauges were to help diagnose a fueling issue. the one in-line is from fuel pump, the one "laying there" was on the end of the fuel rail for an after dampner reading. we were trying to rule out the dampner... which we did... it was the fuel pump that was bad, but since it was a NEW one, we assumed otherwise.

Well if it was completely stock, id think it was too much, but there has been a lot of money sunk into maintenance, and has already had some of those big jobs done like valves job, clutch, turbo, and all. But the price in negotiable.
As for the fuel gauges, the inline one is actually in a safe area fitted with fuel injection hosing, and I have removed the other one. I have my old line still too.

The car is fast and handles nicely. I've done the belts on it when he did the valve job, they're new.

it is a great car, has lots of goodies that a lot of people might do anyway. BTW, the windshield he just got is Sekurit w/ antenna... not a cheap aftermarket.

Today I just installed a brand new deck in the car if you noticed it was missing. The old one died out.

Its got a limited slip dif with a tranny cooler and it has a power sunroof. The micro switch that releases it has been broken since I bought it, and I haven't taken the time to since to fix it.

Bump for Kurtis.

as far as the sunroof, it opens and closes lightling fast (like, the sunroof on my turbo on crack), but for some reason, the arms won't retract to release it for removal. I'm sure it's an adjustment thing.
