I challenged Special Tools cliams in his 0-60 thread and he offered to race me. I figured I would start a new thread as it is off topic in his 0-60 thread.


Tool, you still have not answered any questions I have asked (both about your car and our racing). You also did not reply to my PM, though you read it.

So here it is, lets go to Lebanon Valley Dragway, it is closer to you than me. They are open to the Public every wednesday night. I will make any wednesday work, you pick the day. There are no limits to the car "run what you brung", remember you are claiming upwards of 150whp more than me with a lighter car. I am also talking about a heads up race, you don't need to give me any lengths (not that you can do it on a street night). A drag strip keeps it legal and official, and I am sure some other local rennlisters would be interested to come out and see it.


You said you were serious so am I, or do you not want to race? You started this and now its on you, what day is good for you. How serious are you?

It is new lebanon new york LINK , about 2 hours north of you. Yes you can line up against each other, I go from time to time with my daily driver audi and it is just based on spacing in the line up. Most people are good about trading spaces so people can run each other.

Just let me know when you want to go, this should be a good time. Maybe we can make a NE rennlist drag night out of it.

TMS951. I think you opened a can of worms call him out like that. I gotta see this. Your car gotta be money. His tires slips at over 100mph in 3rd gear at only 26psi on pump gas untuned. All i can say is becareful with what you wish for.

I would be stupid to think I could beat him If his car is what he says, I just want to get him to the drag strip for some real numbers. If it takes me racing him that is fine. I also would be giving a comparison for what a 400whp car runs. If a number of other listers came out and ran it would also be a great GTG.

When you mention his car smokes the tires in third gear it does not seem like a good thing for the drag strip, his car might have to much power to run a great time in its current form. Only time will tell.

Tool, four weeks is the 4th of july, I could think of other things I would rather be doing as well as other listers on that night, but I said name day so if that is realy what you want fine, but how about the week befor or after? And since they don't run in the rain do you want to decide on a rain day as well?

From what I've read it doesn't seem like he cares if he wins or loses. He probably just wants to see what this car can do on with some official measurements.
