get the borla xr-1...its soooooooooo amazing! its not to loud, not ricey, and yet its perfect.

 

+1 on magnaflow 3" straight-through no-baffle design. can't beat the no-restriction, no-frills performance and the lifetime warranty.

 

I just ordered the 4" with a magnaflow. For 40$ I also picked up the muffler replacement pipe for autocross and pissing off the neighbors. I chose the 4 over the 3 mainly because people have said that it sounds deeper and less ricey. I can't wait to hear it!

 

just ordered one of these bad boys. we'll see how i like it, if its too ricey, i'll get the xr-1$$$ muffler. Now to find a stainless tip i like...

 

ok now i have an interesting situation. Lindsay just emailed and said they accidentally sent me the magnaflow muffler w/ the exhaust - i can send it back or pay the difference to keep it. I may just have to try out both and see which i like better ehy?

 

I've had the borla and magnaflow on my 3" and now my 4" system. According to Lindsey the Magnaflow out flowed the Borla, so that is why I got it with my 4" system. The borla sounded better at lower rpms, but I liked the magnaflow at WOT.

Why didn't you get the 4" or do I dare start that debate again.

 

i dont think i'll ever need the 4" exhaust- at most i may end up w/ a "stage 2" vitesse turbo w/ a 3" downpipe. If i get crazy and need something that big, it wont be on this car.

 

ok so i called lindsay and purchased the polished magnaflo that they mistakenly sent to me. ANyone want a deal on a dynamax bullet muffler????
