How about tire growth and distortion? You gotta consider it at those velocities. Well, at least for the first 2 seconds before the tires try to resume normal shape and size. After you regain traction they will get a little flat on the bottom. Plus the tires could be spinning on the wheels without bead lock.

We got any pro drag racers to consult?
no expert - but some practical experience.
Tire designs and purpose are vastly different. A drag slick shares almost nothing in properties to a conventional street tire.
- run very low tire pressures (as low as 8-10psi)
- Low pressure contributes to tire rotating on wheel and the need for beadlock.
- Tire design, sidewall height, tire pressure, and rotational speed are primary contibuters to tire "growth". 60 mph would be well below the peak "growth" you would ever see.

with a conventional tire design these effects are not even in the same scale.

Did the girl put some flowers in the car or something?

And are you going for a 60mph time or a 60ft time?

David - That's Emma, aka "fingers"
She can get a Cummins diesel with 2 dead pistons through California emissions.
