Default Bought Myself Another Porsche today!

It had to be done, I have a well worn Club Sport in my garage with a blown bottom end. One day it is due to be a 16v Turbo. However i love the 968's for what they are too and decided it was time to buy a nice one and detail it to keep. Today I took the plunge after looking for a nice one for a while
Have a look guys, it is exactly the spec I wanted (except no LSD) with full lightweight interior (yellow seat backs) and MO30. I can only see these going up in value so now was probably the best time to buy

Looks real nice. I use to have a 968 great cars. I would say that is a rare find. Should be lots of fun! Congrats and good luck.

I will be doing some detailing Brian, not quite to the level you have gone. You should send some pics of yours to Porsche when it is done. It is quite incrddible how you have made the rear subframe come up. Have you done the same on the front subframe? Watch out for newly laid roads when you have finished. I used to have a SIII V12 EType that was done to a similar standard toyour 951 and on the way to a concours there was a road closure. It was a hot day and the detour took me over a newly laid road. It took me 4 weeks to get the tar off the underside. Hasten to add I did not win that one!

tommo951, Have not done the front yet... That is still to come. I'm gonna buy some of the racers edge arms not quit sure what I can do with them yet chrome or polish, I will probably polish the front cross member should not be a big deal... Compared to what I have already done. The front Bilsteins are already polished just need to shoot them with some high temp metal clear. The front spindles I will paint red. Then the rack I think I will just clean up the best I can...It's already pritty clean as it only has 31k on it! As far as roads I will be looking out for anything in the road....I will be one paranoid dude!!!

Brian, the racers edge arms are cool. Personally I would go for Charlie Arms if you can get them, pure billet georgeousness!!!!!

Nice pickup Thommo! If you're interested in an LSD for it my mechanic JET951 has just purchased some beautiful new Motorsport lsd's for our cars and they bought a 6 plater for another customers (Thingo) new 968 rs project. It is awesome but I think there is a Torsen one left that would fit a 968, not sure on that. You can see them here on a thread titled "NEW Motorsport LSD's". That's just if you're interested.

Yes I love the charlie arms...But I already have the racers edge full car solid suspension bushings, and they will not work with the charlie arms!! Just factory or racers edge.

I thought I saw some pics of Karl's arms that were shiny, not the matt black look? They may have been a previous model that was on his website. Drop him a line.
