Default ROH Rims

I installed deep dish Roh rims on my car. The problem I'm having is the one piece cover that hides the lug nuts does not fit correctly. The nuts stick out too far by about a 1/8 of an inch, my question is can I cut 1/8 of the top of the lug nuts so the cover will fit correctly? TIA, Reno

You could try open ended lug nuts instead of cutting originals. At least VW's light utility truck/van sold here in Europe has suitable ones, although in steel.

Hey Reno, can you post some pic's. I was just looking into some of their rims today funnily enough. They're made in South Australia.

The car looks awesome with the front and rear deep dish, I'll try to post some pics tonight, any other thoughts on my lug bolt problem?

I wouldnt cut them, you dont want them cracking on you... Like suggested, get some hollow ones that will sit deeper on the stud!

Any idea where I can purchase them? I thought the 924 came with hollow lug nuts. Thanks, Reno

Do a search on ebay for Porsche lugnuts. I bought a set of steel cad plated open tops for about $20. They work great especially for track wheels.

Most autoparts stores will have the right thread pattern you need.

You need ball seat lug nuts with an open end. They are not common at all but any local name brand tire shop can order them. Or you can call one of the RL sponsors and tell them what you need. Like Paragon.
