Are those the Racer's Edge units? If so I'll take them. Let me know how you want to handle shipping and payment.

Those are not RE adapter bolts.

Not sure about the taper/radius on the trailing arm side - will that even tighten down flush with the face of the trailing arm?

Those are one piece vs. the Racer Edge which are a bolt in a bolt.

Your question is a good one Jim, I'm not sure that will tighten down tight to the face of the control arm. You have to torque the large bolt to the control arm to 150 ft. pounds.

Daigo,
Looks like someone has the start to a cheaper solution on the bolts. Do you know why they wouldn't cut the face flat on the interface to the control arm?

Those lower shock bolts are sold on ebay, they come with instructions to countersink the bolt opening on the trailing arm to fit the offset shape of the bolt. My guess is so that one less sheer point is taken out of the equation. I bought a set but ended up going with the RE ones when I deleted my torsion bars.

Caster is right. Basic engineering for components such as these. Sheer points seem to be a common problem with aftermarket components for the 944. Another one is the aftermarket pins for the LCAs.

Hmmm so in theory these would be stronger than the racers edge ones? Probably a moot point but still, theory.

I wouldn't make a statement like that without thorough testing. I'm sure Racer's Edge has great race proven components. But if we're theorizing in general terms, then yes, anytime you eliminate sheer points you have less chance of failure.
