I just ordered one, can you tell me more about the mount you fabricated?

Hey Greg, The guy has fabricated and sells some various mounts. You might want to getting one as part of your order.

I asked him about that when I placed my order but he didn't seem to know what I was talking about. After re-reading IPSC's post, it looks like he fabbed something himself. I sent IPSC's pics to him, I'd much rather buy a plug-n-play solution!

that's funny! lol

It seems like the most spacious area for mounting is near the front bumper.

However, I have received some requests that lead me to believe that there

are plenty more spots for mounting.

I will present a few different brackets for this model, and I will eventually figure out which one is the most popular.

The Catch can of course will have a traditional mount welded to the body, and then one of these brackets can bolt to it, and then bolt to the vehicle.

***One alternative mounting style that has come up is "bracketless".

By request, I am working on some OCCs that have no mounts welded on the body itself.

I guess he doesn't read his own site.

"There was one recent
install that did use a little home made mod to install it near the front
of the engine bay. I don't think it was a very complicated thing though."

Thus my confusion!

I'm sure I can figure something out but try not to re-invent the wheel when possible.

Granted it's hooked up wrong, but that is very nicely mounted. And +1 on matching the red.

I will post pics of the correct set up shortly. The mount is nice (thanks Dan) and it moves it out of the way nicely.

IPSC: Any more details on the mount? What is it made of, dimensions, etc.?

Thanks!

I updated the pics showing the mount better. It is simply two strips of aluminium that are bolted together. If you like I can shoot ya the email of the guy who made it for me.

Took a lead from Kevin and got a small piece of aluminum and rigged this up: (very solid/not going anywhere)

Sam, looks good but isn't that going to be kind of a long run for the hoses back to the intake?

OT: Is that a wee little bit of wax down in the fender next to the headlight cover? And here I thought your car was always perfect, LOL!
