When the car is up and running on the track in it's prime rev zone with a very high psi level afforded by it's (the i/c) size amongst other components, that i/c should present no issues from what I understand. The i/c is under pressure from idle so maybe not as much loss as you would think.

It depend of what you compare it with. It is flow tested and pressure drops is very low as the area is large and the tanks is tested before the final solution.

I've seen smaller intercoolers that aren't double pass on HUGE displacement 25:1 compression ratio desiel engines that operate at ~30psi.

Just wondering how your car is going there Mikael? I imagine you've racked up some miles on it by now? Hope all is going well as you've gone a bit quiet?
Any news on that 2.7 Chris?

It is working fine. I do some tuning now so I can do the yearly test. I will be in a week. I now is at 95% dutycycle at my 1000 cc with 3,5 bar fp. Ok I run a bit rich for now, about 11,5 in afr but still it is a lot of power. I have also reved 7.600 rpm and it sings well...

About 200 km, about 125 miles I think. Time to change the mineral oil to the Castrol TSW 10-60.

I dont know but it feels like a bit more than my last 2.5 engine that did have 500+. Boaring is that you very fast get used to the power...

It seems that this can be very good!

Well I gotta say I love your run in procedure Mikael. 7600rpm at 125 miles, that's inspirational!
PS I have 2 people interested in the lights. I'm sure if you raised interest here then there would be easily enough to get Magnus to do another run of them. Doesn't matter where they get sent to it's just a package. I would think that there would be a few people in the U.S. to add to the order?

I would be interested in everything bar the actual Hella's themselves as I can buy them at trade prices in UK. But the buckets and the covers definately! Is Mikael going to do them Patrick?

They are the same ones on his car and they were done by a friend of his, Magnus. Apparently Magnus needs to do a run of 5 or more to make it worthwhile so there's two down here + you and whoever else is in? That is without the Hellas as we can all get them locally.
Did you get those weights of the head and cambox? That should be enough for you to go on.
