I know ive seen people do it but how? id like to try soon

The only way to do it for these HL's w/o ripping the housing off of the lenses is similar to the Redding-out-turn-sigs tutorial in the DIY section.

But, obviously instead of using red, use VHT Nightshade.

A better tutorial to this one is here, but in principle it's the same: Blacking out tails

should answer all your questions.

heres mine- two light coats of VHT nightshades and two coats of dupont clearcoat to make them shine and uv protected.
