thanks to Bill in Denver, the new turbo is mounted and attached to the exhaust... just need to put the intake manifold in place, all those damn coolant lines, and vacuum lines, and she'll be ready to fire up!

Bill, again, I can't tell you how much I appreciate you giving me that spare gasket. You're my hero. I owe you alcohol.

Don't sweat it brutha, that thing has been in my garage for years. In fact, it has been in my last 3 garages. No loss to me giving it away, have a few more just like it plus those in the rebuild kit. Glad I could help out. Alcohol on the other hand is never turned aside. Will try to make this weekend, though will likely be on the triumph or in the truck....Precision Turbo is making a career out of a simple checkup on my air pusher....so she will not be assembled yet. Another track event missed.

SHE'S RUNNING! WOOOOOOO!

Now, just waiting on Travis to send my control arms back... (he has to get the one that shipped out today first)...

but she's running beautifully. I'll let you guys know how I did after I get the control arms back and take her for a spin.

Congratulations Geoff, well done!

Now, that wasn't SO bad, was it? Well, other than getting to that one turbo mount bolt...and getting the steering rack splines to mate to the steering shaft...and getting that one 10mm nut on the heat shield...and replacing that bolt that holds the downpipe to the block...and getting the downpipe lined up with the turbo...and remembering to clock the turbo before you mount it...and...

That just means position the inlet and outlet such that they mate up to the intercooler pipes and the downpipe. To 'clock' it you can loosen the 10mm nuts around the outside of the turbo body, reposition the inlet and/or outlet and then tighten 'em down.

Since you got it all hooked back up you obviously don't need to worry about it
