Hey, you gotta keep those calf muscles strong for the times when your "baby" breaks and you have to pedal your **** to work.

Great job on the car, keep up the great work

Hey Rob,

I'm looking to fix an oil leak before I list it. It's always something, eh?

It is always something. But soon, you'll only have one 951 to deal with! That is until the next one pops up...

Default Update May 19, 2007

Hey all,

Well, I have been fighting a debilitating cold this last week but I was able to get some things accomplished between last weekend and on this last Saturday. I sealed the pass. tail light - man that took some time to get right - where to build the 3M goop to the correct thickness. I put the pass. 1/4 window in, bolted up the missing bumper/ difuser pieces and scrubbed the engine bay, motor and washed the car. I also got it rolling on decidedly better wheels.

As you can see, the drivers tail light is yet to be sealed and installed. Really this is where taking ones time pays off - I have no tollerence for any "blinker fluid" in the future. I have the spare and jack to install and the rear side valences to install and after I seal the driver's tail light, it's complete from the B pillars back! New gallery in the sig.

I am debating whether or not to get a new "Porsche" decal for under the tail lights. I really prefer the clean look it has as is, but want it to be as stock looking as possible (stock LOOKING being the key words).

Any thoughts from you guys?

Oh, and I also got the Cibe E codes in. Look, he's winking at cha.

Hos: Yeah, I've got precious little love for the Bucklers - former employee, one of many. I plan to replace the frame when I can find a decent Vasak Pollack frame for a good price. I do love that it says "Sears Point" since they call it Infineon nowdays. It will always be Sears Point to me!

Jeff N: ? not sure of what the ? means. Did you read the whole thread?

My bad Matt. I saw page one and didn't realize there was more. Looks like a body shop did the work.

Please don't put that tacky Porsche script sticker back on, it looks so clean as it is. That is all.

+1

First thing I did to my car was to "debadge" it ( I know, I need to update my sig). I got rid of "Turbo" and "Porsche" scripts on the back. I think it looks much cleaner that way.

You are doing a great job on the car.....best wishes with the rest of the project

I had the same debate, ultimately I ended up putting mine back on and am very happy I did. I personally like it. That is just my opinion.
