Default Extracting Downpipe Stud

I broke one of the 3 downpipe studs trying to install a test pipe. I searched and found these are supposed to be removable.

I've hit it with a lot of PB Blaster
I've heated up the bolt head to a glow with a propane torch
I've tried to get some locking pliers on it, but I can't seem to get them in any sort of position to give myself some torque on the bolt

This thing needs to come out today, any suggestions? What am I doing wrong?

Any help is greatly appreciated!

On my car, at least one of the "studs" was actually a bolt that you can unscrew from the top side with the intake removed.

Don't be hard on yourself. This is very common.
Once a stud snaps, I doubt that you have enough leverage to remove it with the pipe in place. In my case I ended up removing the downpipe from the hot side of the turbocharger and buying a used one with all studs intact. Good luck. Let us know how you make out.

Yup, last one that broke on me, I just removed the turbo and drill out the stud on a bench.

Pull the downpipe from the car (attached or unattached from the turbo, I'd just leave it on the turbo and pull the whole thing), and see if you can get them out with a pipe wrench. I just tried removing the studs from two different downpipes last week and at least one stud on each downpipe snapped off. On one downpipe, where two studs snapped, I was able to get one stud with a pipe wrench, and the other I had to drill out. Good luck, and be patient.

So am I the only one who had a bolt threaded in from the top? Sure made it easy to remove...

I managed to drill it out from the bottom. It wasn't fun or pretty, but with a lot of patience and cursing, it came out.

I really wanted to avoid pulling the downpipe as I need to get the car back together yesterday.

Test pipe is in. Thanks to everyone for the advice and support.

I would pull the DP with or w/out the turbo. You could try to weld a nut or use a jamb nut to try to take it off w/ a socket first.
