There are quite often these Audi RS2 calipers (new & used) for sale on German Ebay

Here's one used set:

My RS2 calipers were more expensive than the new 996 GT3/TT monoblocks I bought but I didn't want to switch to the early spindles

So that would pretty much confirm it then. With later cars and 'radial' mounted calipers it's almost impossible to mount the Monoblock system without going back to '86 spindles? That's a shame...

So Olli, my German is pretty poor but is that the whole kit being offered for 35 Euro or is that the starting bid and wait to see how much it goes up to?

Correction, any non M030 spindle would work. If anything, you have to stay away from 86 spindles. 87 or newer spindles from 944 turbo, S2 and 968 would all work. Just stay away from M030 spindles if you want monoblock.
They cost a pretty penny anyway so this is a blessing in disguise.
BTW, if anyone is looking for adapters for Big Red's/Big blks, I have a brand new set that I thought would work for monoblocks. I would sell it at my cost with free shipping.
Regards.
