There's a nice looking 89 944 turboS on rennlist classifieds. What do you think is worth with all the mods on the car? Looks really nice. Here's the link to the seller's ad. Like to have some Rennlist opinion.

As an '89 owner I'd love to see him get his asking price but I agree that its overpriced. There are some cool mods done to the car but the carbon fiber arm rest cover is sort of tacky.

Nice car! I'm not too sure about all those different guages. Yes theyre useful...but overkill maybe? In looking at it from a value point of view, I hope he gets what he wants, too. But it is a pretty steep asking price, and it'd take a very wealthy person, or a pure 951 fanatic to buy it at that price.

The things I do not like on this car are...No Music, and I would like wheels that accept Porsche Crest or Turbo Centers. I have an eBoost and am planning on mounting it in the glove box. I would probably do the same with the other gauges and controls so I could have Audio.

If you want to see some other asking prices for stock vehicles, try autotrader.com, then you can use that as a basis for the additional items. Charlie arms are pretty pricey, if you can find them, and thats just one item in a pretty extensive list of mods.
RKD in OKC should know what it cost to do this since he is right in the middle of remodding his, and I think his estimate is pretty good.

Don't like the steering wheel or horn "button" radio replecement cluster wasn't well executed or thought out. Carbon fiber arm rest isn't at peace with the interior AT ALL...too many mismatched items to be considered "tuned". And for thirty grand I'd be looking for a bit more power than that.
Nice paint, and nice floor mats...but the lack of use (spirited or any at all it seems) would bug me about certain components. Nice car but over priced for what you're getting. I'd rip out the "go fast" parts and put some SFR & Vitesse stuff in there anyways.

Anyone want a set with Porsche script in red? When my new mats come in I'll give the old ones (still VG condition) away to a rennlister for the price of shipping and handling.

Don't be scared off by the price, you get what you pay for, I know the guy, his asking price is a fraction of what is invested, he wants to go racing hence the sale. I would buy it myself but I already own to many cars.

Agreed it looks (exterior) like a well thought out car, and that TRS wing is SWEETNESS, the interior stuff if you don't like can be easily changed, so don't let that scare you off. I see I might have been a bit negative in the first post, but for just a dash less cash than hes asking is what i see it going for. Nice original paint is VERY hard to comeby these days, and as someone doing massive amounts of body work, its also VERY expensive.
This one's a keeper.

I'm curious whether the 320 hp is wheel or crank? My guess is that someone will say wheel, but with no engine rebuild shown and just injectors and Maf I'm wondering about 70hp more than stock at the crank which would equate with 100hp if it's rear wheels? I guess he could have been on race fuel and 25psi but I doubt it. It's a nice enough car but a history on Mobil 1 would leave me cold. I'll bet a dollar that the next owner has an engine rebuild in the near future. Sorry for the pesamism but no M1 on my watch! Clean though.
