Default New dyno numbers!

Today I had the car dynoed on a Dynojet. Back in the summer it did 232hp and 269tq. Today, at 17 psi it made 262rwhp and 291rwtq! Much better......

1986 951 w/ 97k miles
Vitesse chips
SFR 3'' cat-replacement pipe w/ 2.5 inch cat-back
Tial 38

The only difference was some general tweaking of the throttle positioning switch and it was 72 degrees instead of the 85 degrees last time. They're going to email the chart to me tonight.

You got a 3" cat that flows to a 2.5 cat back?

What's the cause of the 2 dips between 4300 and 4800rpm. Boost drop or ignition drop?

Not sure, it did that the last time I dynoed too. It has had a sporadic miss at higher rpms before so I would think that might be it. Boost is steady and the A/F ratios are perfect.

Plug wires are a year old but one is damaged. I thought it was fixed but I'll replace that and the plugs anyway.

I know the 2.5" cat-back isn't optimum, but I gotta save up for the 3'' one. Can only afford one thing at a time ya know!

Good man Todd....I just remembered that my last dyno back in the summer was at 15 psi. So that easily accounts for the 30 extra horses.......

I was gonna say it was kind of hard to believe you got 30hp from TPS manipulaiton.

Good numbers though!!

And your a/f still looked good?
