Questions about Zt-2
ok so i just orderd one of these Zt-2 af meters and i have a few questions before it shows up in the mail. I was planning on having another hole drilled in my down pipe and a new bung welded in for the extra WB o2 sensor to reside in. Is this the best place to put this sensor, or should i place it elsewhere? Also - is this necessary or can i somehow hook it up to work for my stock o2 AND my wide band gauge???? Ive had a/f monitors narrow band before but this stuff is all new to me thanks!!

Bosch Wideband O2 sensor
Linear Wideband Output AFR=Vx2+9.6
Nonlinear Wideband Output
Serial data output to the Zeitronix Wideband LCD Display
Serial data output for real time datalogging (PC laptop required)
RPM Input ( tachometer or primary side ignition coil input).
The RPM input works in any car and any ignition system. No additional adapters needed!
Simulated Narrowband Output to feed a stock ECU
Throttle Position Input
Boost Sensor Input
EGT Probe Input
User Input/Warning Output
i guess maybe i answered my own question just want to verify...

Dan, here is a write up that Tom M'Guiness did that has pics of where you want to install the o2 bung. Also has the wiring you need. The turbo down pipe gets too hot and is too close to the turbo.

You cannot EVER put the wideband between head and turbocharger.

in that writeup posted above, they mount the O2 sensor just before the cat.... Im thinking of mounting mine as close to the dp as possible but on that pipe. IIRC the DP is double walled anyway and would be a PITA mount correct.
