Will that fuel cell help the aero under the car at all?

 

Lynn, I love you F5 cobra work. Our cobra was something else. EM. We put a built 351 in it. Sold it to a guy in ocala whose son had leukemia (sp?). His son listened to the sound I recoreded and that was it. Incidentally, he even did the roads at our friends horse ranch up here. I WILL have another one.

Guns. When does that race start. Maybe I will show up in ATL ifI have time during my summer clerkship.

 

The "run" starts on the 29th of July...there is going to be a HUGE turn out of people for the GAR, but we're planning on a GTG in the days before it like on the 26th or so.

Camaro: Dude this is the fun part! "I wanna use this...no I wanna use this...no I wanna..." haha, its all good and i'm keeping the cap! There will be a very unique mounting location as well!

Lorax: Well its just a big assed box so no it won't help at all with underbody aero but oh well right? Its about 25" tall so I think i will have to sink it down a bit but I don't know how much I can sink it down before i hit stuff.

 

Oh i was thinking that it went under the car kinda like the kokeln one? maybe im crazy for thinking it would help either way.

 

I like the fuel safe. Cool touch. Hmmm 29th of july. I should have 4 days off from the firm......

Kolken stopped making those a while ago. I think this will sit very well cause he is going to have it custom fit.

Lorax: No you're not crazy, actually the Kokeln one does help out quite a bit. But for almost $5k I think I'll stick to my ugly box If you really want to get into underbody aero just go for a underbody plate and diffuser set at 7 degrees...........

Gator: would love to see you come on out. It'll be great! But one of the ATL guys will have to arrange the place of where to meet up etc. as being an out-of-towner I'll surely screw things up

Guns: ATL is easy dude. Seriously. If you need a good place to eat etc.... Good wine blah blah blah, let me know. There are lots of place I can suggest for the day before the party.

More importantly, you have the adequate equipment to record the whole adventure and edit later right. That is the way to go. MTV style. Make it better than that. DO IT

Hahaha, I hear you. If I wasn't on such a time crunch we'd have a bid war over it! But for now with the individual throttle body setup and a totally custom front end to plumb up the goodies, Chris has his hands full!

 

hey when i spoke to guns in afghanistan we talked about the run and i was going to attend the start in Miami. but seeing how this is going i might go up to ATL to hang out with guns and the rest of the rennlisters. sure there will be girls and exotics in Miami but ATL will have Guns, hahaha! plus if we make a nice 951 crowd i think it will be nice, kind of a support group.

 

That would be awesome!!!! The start of the event will have in upwards of 5,000 people and there will be some road closures etc. Its going to be sick. We'll have to plan out a place for a 951/rennlister gtg. Let's take over a local hooters or something!!! I dunno i'll start a thread on it for ideas around May or so.

Jorge, I'd love to have you up in ATL - its going to be absolutely sick.
