My Xmas present, not a turbo, but it will be..
Took me a couple of days to drive it back from Tasmania, here it is a Midnight Blue '92 968, one owner,220,000 kms.
It is a base for a little project, 16v 968 turbo. I had big plans for my 951, but I got this at a good price, it is a beautiful colour, and after I drove a 968CS I knew I would be happier going down this route.
Early days yet, but am planning 3.1 darton sleeves,gt35,motec and a couple of other things

So waiting all this time for those Dynatech parts just tipped you over the edge huh Rod? lol. Very nice looking car and you always wanted to do this. Lot's of pressure on those tracktimes though with that future beast. What are you going to do with the white one? I could be tempted to take the 6 speed off you. hahaha.

Just too good an opportunity to miss, 968's are light on the ground, particularly at a decent price.
Plenty of time to drive the 951 yet, I'm not competing, it's all pleasure.

Rod: You lucky son of a gun! Nice pic up pal. Good luck with this one too. The white car came out beautiful, and Im sure that this one will too. Any idea when you plan to start and how long? Going to do it by yourself, or, have someone help you too?
Cheers,

Thanks guys the paint is amazing, I think it has been fully resprayed, got scratched at the detailers or something, whatever it is like a mirror.
The wheels are rubbish I know.
Sean (JET951) will be my man for most of it, I'll be the apprentice, or the foreman or something, months definitely, no real rush as I still love my 951, but this can be even better.
