Try intercity lines transportation, they quoted me 1171 from Houston, Tx to North carolina (they transport dauer 962 and such priceless Porsches). No affiliation, its just who I use and will take perfect care of your new baby.

Welcome aboard Jake! It sounds like you did your homework on this buy, and I think you will be pleased with it. That ship has got to be about the longest you can pull in the continential US, it's much better driven. One thing nice with top-shelf components, you will be able to find support for them, even on the other coast. It may take MANY years to get the car to behave correctly, a move from sunny LA to NH is very traumatic, don't say I didn't warn ya!

Congrats Eyal, it's nice to be able to clean up the clutter in one's life to focus on what's important, although that bar thing may present some difficulties.

Its a lot of money, but i think Eyals car is worth it.
Still a gamble though.
You had a thread on this already and people posted, no?

So 951's have strong willed personalities, right? i think the move is going to **** the car off something fierce. Judging by eyals luck when he first got it, this car does what it wants!!! ie. eating HG and turbos.
I have a siberian husky and when i adopted him, he was stubborn, and misbehaved, and he still is and i love him., Hopefully the same will come of Eyals car.

Too bad it ain't running - I'd offer to drive it out there for you - plus I could go visit the folks in Boston. Oh well, enjoy the car!

Oh yeah, welcome to the family, brother.

The 951 is a living, breathing thing. Treat her right, she'll lick your hand - treat her wrong or abuse her and she'll rip your head off and hump your spine stump. These cars are more than fierce, the Porsche spirit lies within. Most will say this is bull**** but its true, just like A.G says each Porsche (regardless of model) owes its soul to the ones that came before it. You are now apart of that heritage, respect yourself and the 951, if you don't then no one else will.

Welcome home

Jake, maybe I can assist you with the shipping issue, I have been known by my ability to chop, I mean fit 951's in boxes.

Awesome lart, and if you hand deliver it you can mow my lawn, Eyal said you didn't do a very good job with his, but its winter here, so its mostly pushing leaves around.

Question, how quickly are new members allowed to make fun of others in here?

Hey are you joking, wouldn't a rolling chassis w/ brakes and steering ship cheaper?
