Can ISV leak?
I have a HUGE vacuum leak! It is coming from the isv area. My vacuum at idle is about 7. I just changed the tps yesterday. Right now my car isle idling like ****. On my way to work tonight the engine would rev to around 3000rpm and stay there on its own. I am going to dig into this bright an early tommorow. My questio being, can the isv leak itself. Or would one of the hoses be a more likely cause? I replaced all vacuum lies this summer and did a venturi delete. the only lines i didnt touch were the ones on the isv! (bad move). Im guessing its more than likely the lies trhan the isv!
thanks for the responses.

This may sound intuitive but simplest way to determine the cause of the leak is to put a piece of rubber hose up to your ear and put the other end on the source of the whining/whistling. It sounds like you have done something like this already.
My ISV was replaced last week and while it wasn't making any noise or causing a vac leak, it was the causing idle problems.
