Why not sleeve it? If I do sleeve it I will go up to 106mm.. I am not sure how much longer a stock block will last expecially with the new power on its way.

Don't sleeve that block. If you really want to do the darton process, I have a perfect candidate engine block, plus a friend looking for a 104 bore.

I've done cone filters on other cars and experimented with the snorkel location in my 951 and it's pretty clear that cars runs better when fresh (outside/ambient) air is supplied to the intake. On the other hand, I've seen several guys on the board using block off panels to isolate the cone and even one guy with his filter hanging into the fender well - one would think that everyone with a cone would eventually adopt some variation of this "cold air" intake arrangement for the obvious performance and safety benefits..... nice looking engines though! I wish I had the time to shine my underhood bits but between the wife, kids & an old house my tinkering time is limited.

DFASTEST951.........
I couldn't help noticing your BOV. Is it a Lindsey/Turbo XS unit??
I know the orientation of this BOV has been discussed here before.....
Lindsey has pics on their site of the valve installed both ways. Mine
is installed opposite of yours. I'm wondering if I should reverse it.

Jandjet....
Search is our friend.
Here's the thread I remembered. I'm leaving my BOV alone.

Actually, could you PLEASE send me a closer picture of your banjo bolt to hard line hose? I've got to bring mine back to stock condition (this is the only thing keeping my engine bay from being bone stock) and have forgotten what that arrangement looks like.
TIA .
BTW: Sweet engine bay!
