Weltmeister T-Bar delete bushing SQUEAK!!!
Ok, I deleted the T-bars, and I get a horrable squeak from the new solid bushings.... Did any of you do anything to make it go away?

Are you talking about the spring plate bushings?
Did you grease them when installing?
Were they fit properly, ie. did you hone the insides of the torsion tube housing where the inner bushing resides, and the inside of the spring plate where the outer bushing resides?
I have the Racer's Edge delrin bushings with no squeaking. But I spent a lot of time on fitment.
Did you just put them in? I would drive with them for awhile and see if it goes away.

Proper fitment is key to these solid bushings. You can see in the pic below, the spring plate on the left is how it looked when it came off the car. The spring plate on the right is after I honed it. Honing cleans out the hard bits of rubber from the old bushings, and takes a minute amount of material off so the bushings don't bind up. Trial fitment during the honing process ensures you don't take too much off. Honing also helps to round out the inside surface area, which may not have been perfectly round since the rubber bushings didn't require it.

I have never had a no-start condition before, so I have no experience trouble-shooting. I'm no mechanic, I just kinda figure things out as I go along. I don't even have a multimeter, I'll be buying one today (and figuring out how to use it later today.)
I'm convinced it's a wiring issue since I pulled a whole lotta old wiring, but common basic trouble-shooting (which I will be learning here real soon) will help to eliminate other possibilities.
But I don't want to detract from your bushings thread. For FUN WITH WIRING, see my "How to read wiring diagrams" thread in this forum.

squeak on a street car is a bitch; track car, well you only hear it in the pits . Jim did a nice job on his spring plate housings. You can also just lightly scratch the bushings, that way when you grease them before install, a bit of grease goes into the bushing to help on the install. If you take them apart, nothing says you can't drill and tap for a grease fitting
