Mine does not vibrate. Is it hitting the old bracket for the stock WG? I think most people remove that. You could also loosen the dump pipe and the cat/testpipe and wiggle the system to get more clearance before retorquing

Yeah, the bracket is gone, but the only way I could see it fit is right up against the TQ tube. I dont know if makes a diffrence, but its the 46mm....

My 38mm sits against the torque tube and vibrates fiercely as well, although i hear this is common w/ the 1 piece crossover?...might be a worthwile tradeoff if i could get hold decent boost

I've got the 46mm on my 88 951, and it seemed to fit in there pretty well, and doesn't hit anything.

Do you have the one piece tube or two?

If you have the two piece all that is needed is to rotate it away from the tube make sure all the bolts are tightened good. One piece the tube is two long needs to be shorten a bit, a few guys have made it work with the one piece tube with out cutting it.

I was able to secure it to the original bracket by rotating the bracket 180 degrees and sliding the bracket on the torque tube until it was in a postion for the holes to line up.

Custom alluminum bracket. My hardware was vibrating loose alot so I saftey wired them as well. Lots of trial and testing but worry free at this stage.

Yep, this info is correct - if you reverse the factory bracket it will fit as if it's made for the Tial.

Tial 38MM and original bracket. No need for the big Tials on 4 cylinder engines.

If the Tial doesnt fit well, hack 1/2" off the end of the dump pipe and itll go in like it was a stock part.
