I would have to say there are probably different diameter holes in the center horn button....if yours does not fit.....

Here is a pict of mine....

Pict of the backside.

Tes,
Thanks, im pretty pissed off, since that horn button costed me $50 and it doesn't fit.

I have an earlier wheel, made in 1993 i believe (says so on the back).

Could you do me a favour and measure the ID and OD of the horn (from the back).

I also have part numbers 1872 on the back of mine.....if that helps.

Hosrom- I am going to tell you why it doesn't fit.
I swear to God if you pull your usual **** of second-guessing and starting 20 threads, I will fly out there and tweak you behind your goofy ear.

The butons are all the same.

The steel backing pieces are not. The round piece that goes behind the wheel to hold the button in place.
You need to swap only this piece for your style wheel.

Tool: Have you seen Tes's pics? the rear view ones? he doesn't have that steel peice, or does he? Sorry, but i don't have anything at the backside of the button, with the exception of that bronze metal clip (use for grounding the horn).

Any idea where i can get that steel piece?
