The splitter adds a lot of stability at higher speeds, say above 100. To get effects at lower speeds it probably needs to look something like this....

I just put a splitter on my car, definatly feels less floaty on the highway and such.

Ohh yeah it kills lots more bugs too.

The installation of the splitter does not necesitate the removal of the belly pans. They stay in place.

The AIR splitter is the better looking (by far) but is scrape happy (especially) if your car is lowered) while the GT Racing is more functionally with more ground clearance.

Food for thought...

How do you install the AIR splitter? Is it screwed on or does it use 3M double sided tape?

AIR splitter is a very nice part, strong for a fiberglass bit. I used it in conjunction with GT Racing nose and nostril header. It helped get the somewhat warped nose into the correct shape.

The splitter secured to the nose with sheet metal screws and then to the NA radiator using three 2" 8 mm bolts and the existing nuts. The bolts come upward through holes drilled in the AIR bat wing segment. They're secured on top of the bat wing with wing nuts...and to the radiator mount using the existing nuts.

As shown in the pic, is IS low...compare to the rocker panels!

mine is flat black and has been re-fiberglassed in a few spots (cracking) from hitting small wildlife. holding up fine with 5 M10 bolts through the lip and bumper cover.

Just to add to the convincing. I had my car parked in a parking garage today, and i walked out to it, and was just tottaly blown away by how the whole front end of the car looks so much more sinister with the splitter on. It really does look badass. Im very happy I decided to get it.

Now hurry up and order it Andial!

Splitter is the way to go. I'm on my sixth one though. I kept killing them. This one I've had for a few years now so just be careful on the driveways and dips...

I had one on my previous 951 years ago, the wife (now long gone) knocked it off once. I have one sitting in my shop waiting to be put on the current 951 now. I just think they "look right" on the car. Just be careful pulling into parking spaces....

Cheers
